QR code generator for links, Wi-Fi and contacts

Paste a link and the code is ready before you finish typing. It holds the link itself, so it keeps working for as long as the link does. What you type stays on your device.

Or a code for

Free, no sign-up, no ads. The code never expires: it holds the link itself.

Your privacy comes first

Your contracts, passport scans and family videos stay yours. No one but you gets to see them.

  • We never store your files

They don’t even reach us: your phone or computer does the work. Nothing to delete later.

  • 100% free

No daily limits, no file-size cap, no paid Pro plan.

  • No sign-up

No account to create, no email to give. No account, nothing to hack.

How it works

  1. Type what the code holdsA link, plain text, a Wi-Fi network, a contact card, an email, a phone number or an SMS.
  2. Pick the lookColours, the shape of the dots and corners, a logo in the middle, a “Scan me” caption.
  3. Download PNG or SVGPNG at 512, 1024 or 2048 px for chats and documents, SVG for print at any size.

Make a QR code for a menu, a flyer or the guest Wi-Fi

Many QR sites hand out a “dynamic” code. It points to their server, and when the trial ends the code stops working or starts showing ads. This QR code generator puts the link or text into the code itself, with no server in between. That is why the code never expires.

What one code can hold

  • A link: a menu, a price list, a review page, a Google Form, a YouTube video.
  • Wi-Fi: the network name, password and security type. Guests join without typing.
  • A contact: name, phone, email, company, job title, website and address. vCard keeps every field, MeCard gives a smaller code.
  • An email, a call or an SMS with the text already written.
  • Plain text: a note, a code word, an instruction.

A QR code with a logo that still scans

Add a PNG, JPG, WebP or SVG logo and the code switches to the strongest error correction: up to 30 % of it can be covered and a phone still reads it. Keep the code darker than the background. A pale code on a pale background is the most common reason a scan fails, and the panel warns you about low contrast. After every change the code is read back the way a camera reads it, and you see whether it came out exactly as typed.

PNG or SVG

PNG is a picture: 512 px is enough for a chat or a website, 2048 px for a slide. SVG is drawn with shapes, so it stays sharp on a poster, a business card or a sticker. Printers and designers usually ask for SVG.

Before you print a thousand

  • Print it at least 2 × 2 cm. For a poster read from a few metres, make it about a tenth of that distance.
  • Keep the empty border around the code: phones use it to find the code.
  • Scan the printed proof with two different phones.
