Make a passport photo at home

Your photo stays yours: we never receive it and keep no copy. Pick the document, fit your face to its template and print a sheet of copies at a kiosk or on your own printer.

JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, GIF, BMP, HEIC · one photo at a time

Your privacy comes first

Your contracts, passport scans and family videos stay yours. No one but you gets to see them.

  • We never store your files

They don’t even reach us: your phone or computer does the work. Nothing to delete later.

  • 100% free

No daily limits, no file-size cap, no paid Pro plan.

  • No sign-up

No account to create, no email to give. No account, nothing to hack.

How it works

  1. Pick the documentChoose US passport and visa, UK passport, Schengen visa, China visa or another one from the list. The size and the head lines are set for you.
  2. Fit the faceDrag the photo, zoom it with the slider or a pinch, and turn it up to 20° until the face sits in the oval.
  3. Save or printUnder Save pick Photo only, a 10 × 15 cm sheet as JPG or PDF, or an A4 sheet as PDF.

From a phone picture to a print-ready ID photo

A booth charges for four prints, and one of them always has closed eyes. Ask someone to take your picture against a light wall, fit it here and print it where prints are cheap. The template knows the size and the head height each document asks for, so you don’t measure anything by hand.

Sizes in the list

  • US passport and visa: 2×2 in (51×51 mm), head 25 to 35 mm
  • UK passport: 35×45 mm, head 29 to 34 mm
  • Schengen visa: 35×45 mm, head 32 to 36 mm
  • India passport and visa: 2×2 in
  • China visa: 33×48 mm
  • Russian passport and international passport: 35×45 mm, plus a 3×4 cm photo for forms and passes

What the template shows

Over the picture you see a head oval and three lines: the top of the head, the eyes and the chin. Move and zoom the photo until the face fits them. The template shows where the rules want the head. It does not judge the photo for you: lighting, expression and glasses are up to you.

Taking the picture

  • Stand a step away from a plain light wall
  • Face a window, so the light is even and there are no shadows on the face
  • Look straight at the lens, mouth closed, neutral face
  • Take off glasses that reflect light
  • Let someone else shoot from eye level: a selfie at arm’s length stretches the nose

A greyish wall

Lighter background brightens the light tones, so a pale grey wall turns white while the face hardly changes. It does not cut you out or swap the background. Start with a light wall and the slider only finishes the job.

Printing

  • Photo only: a JPEG at 600 dpi, 1205 × 1205 px for 2×2 in, 827 × 1063 px for 35×45 mm
  • A 10 × 15 cm (4×6 in) sheet fits 6 photos of 35×45 mm or 2 of 2×2 in, with cut marks
  • An A4 PDF fits 30 photos of 35×45 mm; print it at 100% scale, not Fit to page
