Resize image by pixels or percent

Make a 4000-pixel phone photo the size a website, a form or a post needs. Your pictures are never sent to us: they stay on your device from start to finish.

JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, GIF, BMP, HEIC · up to 50 images at once

Your privacy comes first

Your contracts, passport scans and family videos stay yours. No one but you gets to see them.

  • We never store your files

They don’t even reach us: your phone or computer does the work. Nothing to delete later.

  • 100% free

No daily limits, no file-size cap, no paid Pro plan.

  • No sign-up

No account to create, no email to give. No account, nothing to hack.

How it works

  1. Add imagesPress Choose images or drop up to 50 pictures on the page.
  2. Set the sizeUnder Resize by, keep 50 % in Percent, type a width and height in Pixels, or pick a ready size in Social.
  3. SaveOne image downloads on its own; several come as one ZIP, each with its new size shown in the list.

Three ways to resize an image

A modern phone shoots photos about 4000 pixels wide. A website, a forum or a chat rarely needs more than 2000, and a smaller picture also means a lighter file. Here you resize image dimensions before you upload them anywhere.

Percent, Pixels or Social

  • Percent: tap 25, 50 or 75 %, or use the slider from 5 to 100 %. The shape stays the same.
  • Pixels: type the width and height. With Keep proportions on, each image fits inside that box. With it off, every image is stretched to exactly that size.
  • Social: a ready size for the network you post to.

Resize image for Instagram, YouTube and X

A social size fills the frame completely. If your photo has another shape, it is not squashed: the edges are cut off evenly and the centre stays. A note under the sizes says when that happens.

  • Instagram post 1080 × 1080, Instagram portrait 1080 × 1350.
  • Story and Reels 1080 × 1920.
  • YouTube thumbnail 1280 × 720.
  • Facebook post 1200 × 630, X (Twitter) post 1600 × 900.

What you get

  • JPG, PNG, WebP and AVIF keep their format. GIF, BMP and HEIC become JPG, or PNG when they have see-through parts.
  • Each file gets “-resized” in its name.
  • A Lanczos filter keeps edges sharp. JPG, WebP and AVIF are saved at High; the gear next to Save offers Best, Good or Smaller file.
  • A photo shot sideways comes out upright. Location and other camera details are not copied.

Limits

  • Up to 50 images per batch, all with the same setting.
  • Each side up to 20,000 pixels, one image up to 100 megapixels.
  • No file size limit from us; a phone with little memory may struggle with very large photos.
