Flip video online

Flip video from the front camera so writing reads the right way, or swap top and bottom. Your video stays yours: it is not sent to our server and not stored there.

MP4, MOV, WebM, MKV and more · any video this device can play

Your privacy comes first

Your contracts, passport scans and family videos stay yours. No one but you gets to see them.

  • We never store your files

They don’t even reach us: your phone or computer does the work. Nothing to delete later.

  • 100% free

No daily limits, no file-size cap, no paid Pro plan.

  • No sign-up

No account to create, no email to give. No account, nothing to hack.

How it works

  1. Choose a videoIt opens already mirrored left to right, the fix most clips need.
  2. Pick the directionKeep Flip left to right, or switch to Flip upside down.
  3. Save the copyA new file downloads with “-flipped” in its name. The sound is untouched.

How to mirror a video

“Flip” means two different things. A horizontal flip mirrors the picture, the way a selfie camera does. A vertical one swaps top and bottom, like a reflection in a lake. Here you can flip video either way, or both, for free and without sign-up.

Flip video horizontally

Open the clip and it is mirrored left to right straight away. A slogan on a T-shirt or a shop sign should now read normally. Check it in the preview and save; the original file stays as it was.

Flip a video vertically

Press Flip upside down and switch Flip left to right off. The top goes to the bottom, as in water. If the phone was simply held the wrong way up, a 180° turn on Rotate video is the better fix: a turn keeps writing readable.

Both mirrors at once

  • Both together equal a half turn: the picture is upside down but not mirrored.
  • That case is saved in a moment, with no re-encoding.
  • Left 90° or Right 90° can be added to either mirror if the clip also lies on its side.

Clips people mirror most

  • Front-camera clips and video messages with writing in the background.
  • Dance and workout lessons, so viewers can follow the moves as in a mirror.
  • Footage filmed through a mirror or a shop window.

How the mirrored copy is saved

  • Every frame changes, so the picture is encoded again at the original’s bitrate, capped at 8 Mbps for 1080p and 20 Mbps for 4K.
  • Saving takes about as long as the clip plays, often less.
  • MP4 and MOV keep their format. WebM and MKV come out as MP4.
  • A few browsers can’t mirror video. The page tells you if yours is one of them.
