Crop a PDF

Crop a PDF to the part you need: cut off wide empty borders or scanner edges, on every page or just one. The file stays yours and is never stored on our side.

One PDF file, any size

Your privacy comes first

Your contracts, passport scans and family videos stay yours. No one but you gets to see them.

  • We never store your files

They don’t even reach us: your phone or computer does the work. Nothing to delete later.

  • 100% free

No daily limits, no file-size cap, no paid Pro plan.

  • No sign-up

No account to create, no email to give. No account, nothing to hack.

How it works

  1. Choose a PDFThe first page opens large, with a frame around it.
  2. Set the frameDrag its corners and sides, or press Trim white margins.
  3. Save the PDFChoose all pages or only this one, then save a new copy.

How to crop PDF pages

Cropping helps when a page has too much empty space: a book scan with dark edges, a slide with wide margins, a receipt in the corner of an A4 sheet. Cropped pages are easier to read on a phone and print larger.

Draw the frame

Drag the corners or sides of the frame until it holds what you want to keep. On a phone, drag with a finger; on a computer, the arrow keys move the frame too. Everything outside it dims, so you see the result before saving. Reset frame starts over.

Trim PDF margins automatically

Press Trim white margins and the frame snaps to where the content begins and ends, with a thin strip of space left around it. Move it out by hand if you want more. A blank page has nothing to fit to, and the tool says so.

All pages or only this one

  • Apply to all pages: the same frame on every page. Right for a book scan or a report with one layout. On pages of another size, the frame keeps the same proportions.
  • Only this page: crops the page you see and leaves the rest. Use the arrows above the page to find it.

Hidden, not erased

Cropping sets the visible area of each page. What lies outside the frame is hidden in every viewer and in print, but it is still in the file, and some editors can bring it back. To remove a name or an account number for real, use Redact PDF.

What you get

  • A new PDF. The original stays as it was.
  • The same quality: the page is not redrawn, so text stays sharp and selectable.
  • About the same file size, because nothing is removed.

Limits

  • One PDF at a time.
  • The frame is a rectangle; other shapes are not possible.
  • A file that asks for a password to open has to be unlocked first.

Free, fast and all yours
