Split PDF

Split PDF documents into several files: every page on its own, by page ranges, or just the pages you pick. The document stays yours: we never receive it or keep a copy.

One PDF file, any size

Your privacy comes first

Your contracts, passport scans and family videos stay yours. No one but you gets to see them.

  • We never store your files

They don’t even reach us: your phone or computer does the work. Nothing to delete later.

  • 100% free

No daily limits, no file-size cap, no paid Pro plan.

  • No sign-up

No account to create, no email to give. No account, nothing to hack.

How it works

  1. Choose a PDFOpen one file. Every page appears as a thumbnail.
  2. Choose how to splitEvery page, by ranges such as 1-3, 4-6, or by tapping the pages you want.
  3. SaveOne part saves as a PDF. Several parts save together in one ZIP.

Three ways to separate PDF pages

Pick the way that fits the job. The original stays as it was; the pages are copied into new files unchanged. Even a long document is split in seconds on your own device.

Every page

Each page becomes a one-page PDF. Use it for a stack of scanned receipts or forms that went into one file. The files are numbered by page, so they sort in the right order.

By ranges

Type the parts, separated by commas: 1-3, 4-6, 7 gives three PDFs. Two numbers joined by a hyphen mean a run of pages, and a single number means one page. You can skip pages you don’t need, and each file is named after its pages.

Pick pages

Tap the thumbnails you need, then save them as one PDF or as a PDF for each page. Tap a page again to leave it out. It is the quickest way to take three pages out of a hundred.

What you get

  • One new file: a PDF, saved straight away.
  • Two or more: one ZIP with all the PDFs inside. Phones and computers open it with a tap or a double click.
  • Pages keep their text, pictures, size and direction. Text stays selectable.
  • The pages stay in their original order inside each new file.

Limits

  • One PDF at a time. To split several, do them one after another.
  • A typo in the ranges is flagged at once, and Save waits until you fix it.
  • No page limit and no file-size cap from us. A very long file only needs free memory on the device.
  • A file that asks for a password to open has to be unlocked first with Unlock PDF.
