What you get when you combine PDF files
The files go into one PDF one after another, in the order of the cards. A contract, a bank statement and a passport scan can sit side by side, and none of them is sent anywhere: your browser joins them on this device.
Mixed sources and page sizes
A scan, a bank statement and a PDF saved from Word go together without any preparation. Every page keeps its own size and direction: an A4 page stays A4, a Letter page stays Letter, a landscape page stays landscape.
Take only some pages from a file
Open the settings (the gear) and type the pages for any file, for example 1-3, 5. That takes pages one to three and page five. An empty field means the whole file.
Limits
- 2 to 50 files at a time.
- No page limit and no file-size cap from us. A very long document only needs free memory on the device.
- PDF files only. Turn photos or scans into a PDF first with JPG to PDF.
- A file that asks for a password to open has to be unlocked first.
- A file that only forbids editing or printing merges fine, and the result has no such restriction.
How to merge PDF files on iPhone or Android
Pick the files in the Files app or in Downloads; you can select several at once. To move a card, press and hold it for a moment, then drag.
Get the order right faster
Each card shows the first page, the file name and the page count, so you can check the order before you save. Files named 01, 02, 03 arrive almost in order. To move single pages, rotate one or delete a blank page after merging, open the result in Organize PDF pages.
