How it works

  1. Open a PDFPick the document on your phone or computer.
  2. Add to the pagePick Text, Image, Whiteout or Draw and tap where it goes.
  3. Save a copyMove or resize what you added, undo a step if needed, then press Save.

What this PDF editor can do

You edit PDF pages here by adding on top of them. The document’s own text and pictures stay where they were, so the layout never shifts. It runs in Safari, Chrome, Edge and Firefox with nothing to install.

Four tools

  • Text: tap the page and type. Sizes run from 6 to 96 points, in black, white, blue or red. The typeface covers Latin with accents and Cyrillic.
  • Image: a logo, a stamp or a photo as JPG or PNG. Drag it into place and pull a corner to resize it.
  • Whiteout: drag a box over a line. White looks like correction tape; black, blue or red gives a coloured bar.
  • Draw: underline, circle or tick with a finger, a mouse or a stylus.

Fill in a PDF form that has no fields

Plenty of forms are just printed lines. Choose Text, tap just above a line and type the answer. If it doesn’t fit, make the text smaller and nudge it by its handle. Dates and reference numbers go in the same way, and Draw puts a tick in a box.

Fix a typo

The document’s own words can’t be changed directly. Cover the wrong word with a white box and type the right one on top. Match the text size to the line around it and the fix won’t stand out.

Whiteout covers, it doesn’t delete

Text under a white box is still in the file. A search finds it and anyone can copy it. To remove a name or an account number for good, use Redact PDF.

Move, delete, undo

The Select tool picks up anything you added, so you can move it, resize it or delete it. Every step can be undone and your original file never changes, so feel free to try things.

What ends up in the saved file

Typed text is saved as real text: sharp at any zoom and found by search. Pictures and drawings become part of the page. Each page keeps its own additions; switch pages with the thumbnails under the sheet.
