Convert HEIC to JPG

Turn iPhone photos into JPG files that open on any computer, website or form.

JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, GIF, BMP, HEIC · up to 50 images at once

Your privacy comes first

Your contracts, passport scans and family videos stay yours. No one but you gets to see them.

  • We don’t store your files

We don’t save them on our server: not the contract, not the video, not the photo. What you open stays yours.

  • 100% free

No daily limits, no file-size cap, no paid Pro plan.

  • No sign-up

No account to create, no email to give. No account, nothing to hack.

How it works

  1. Add HEIC photosPress Choose images or drop up to 50 photos from your iPhone. From reads HEIC from the files and To is already JPG.
  2. Keep JPG or pick another formatLeave To at JPG or switch it to PNG, WebP or AVIF. The gear sets the quality (High to start); with JPG, decide whether to keep photo details.
  3. SaveOne photo downloads as a file, a batch as one ZIP. Each file keeps its name with the new extension.

Why iPhone photos need a JPG copy

An iPhone saves photos as HEIC. They look great and take half the space, but Windows, an older laptop or an upload form often can’t open them. Convert HEIC to JPG here once, and the copies go anywhere: email, a print shop, a job portal.

When you need JPG

  • A site or a government form accepts only JPG
  • Windows shows HEIC photos as blank icons
  • You email photos to someone without an iPhone
  • A print shop or a marketplace asks for JPG

Four formats under To

  • JPG opens everywhere and suits almost every case
  • PNG keeps every decoded pixel, but a photo grows to roughly ten times the HEIC
  • WebP and AVIF are lighter and suit websites; AVIF takes longer to write
  • Quality for JPG, WebP and AVIF: Best, High, Good or Smaller file
  • A photo shot sideways is saved upright, the way the iPhone shows it

Photo details: keep or drop

By default the new file carries no date, camera or location, which is safer when you send photos to strangers. If your gallery should still sort them by day, turn on Keep photo details: the date, camera and place stay. The switch works while To is JPG, because only a JPG can carry them.

Chrome, Edge and Firefox too

Safari on a Mac, iPhone or iPad reads HEIC by itself. Other browsers can’t, so the page fetches a HEIC decoder of about 1.5 MB from this site with the first photo. After that every photo is decoded on your device.

Stop the problem at the source

On an iPhone, Settings → Camera → Formats → Most Compatible makes the camera shoot JPG from now on. Photos taken before that stay HEIC, so a converter is still handy for the old ones.
